    Mrs. Willie D. Wilson

    October 23, 1923 - March 19, 2022

Willie Dell Grayer Wilson was born October 23, 1923, in Oktibbeha County, Starkville, MS. She confessed her life in Christ at an early age. She was a lifelong member of Second Baptist Church and was a good and faithful servant of God, man and her children. Her Lord has welcomed her home and said to her, “well done good and faithful servant, you have fought the good fight, you have finished the race, and now I award to you my Crown of Righteousness.” Willie attended the Bethel School System. She was joined in Holy Matrimony to Otis Wilson, Sr. She rendered 54 years of loyal and dedicated service as a domestic worker. Willie was a keeper of the peace, with a warm, gentle, quiet and loving spirit. She was a devout believer that, “cleanliness was next to godliness.” She is preceded in death by parents Ida Turner, Henry and Fannie Grayer; (4) brothers: George, Charlie, Henry and Warren; (3) sisters: Evelyn, Fannie, and Henrietta; (1) son, Otis, (1) daughter, Nettie and (2) grandsons: Kermit and Wayne. Wonderful memories of her are and will always be cherished by her sister Martha of St. Louis, MO; a son Benjamin (Linda); six daughters: Joyce, Pansy, Diann, Christine, Jackie (Keith) and Barbara and host of grands, great grands, great-great grands and dear friends.
