Safarest “Maine” Hakfacre was born July 23, 1973 in Starkville, MS to Linda Kelly Halfacre Welch and Calvin Halfacre. He accepted Christ at an early age. Safarest attended Ashley Elementary School and Emmanuel Middle School in Denver, Co. He graduated from Starkville, MS in Starkville, MS in 1991. After he graduated school, he stated working at Jitney Jungle in Starkville, MS. He worked in various supermarkets in both Mississippi and Alabama for over 30 years. He was employed at Vowell’s Marketplace for many years of those years. He was very talented at drawing and enjoyed fixing up cars. He is preceded in death by his father Calvin Halfacre; his Grandfather Nash Kelly, his Grandmother Lena Kelly, his Aunts Sarah Halfacre and Zadie Lee Hunt and his Uncles C.W. Halfacre and John Andrew Kelly. He is survived by his Mother: Linda Kelly Halfacre Welch, Stepfather: James Welch, Brother: Hashim Welch, Sister: Ayasha Welch. Aunts: Daphne Davis, Valerie Johnson, and Betty Brooks. Uncle: Nesvie “June” Martin, Jr. And many Cousins, Friends, and Loved ones.
