Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery in Lexington, MS. Laura, was born to the late Louis & Clara Williams on August 13, 1965 in Holmes County. Laura was a life long active member in the East Jones Chapel Church and Community. Laura was married to the late Nathaniel Newman. Laura passed away on July 8th 2021 at UMC hospital in Lexington, MS. Laura graduated from Tchula Attendance Center in 1984 in Tchula, MS. Laura was proceeded in death by her siblings, J.C. Williams, Sally Williams, and Louise Pitchford. Laura leaves to cherish her fond memories 3 Sisters: Hilda Hayes of Tchula, MS, Lillie Williams of Tchula, MS and Beatrice Davenport , of Lexington, MS; 2 Brothers: Louis Williams of Lexington, MS and Richard Williams of Chicago, IL; 3 God-Daughters: Tailynn Redmond, Mirrah Redmond, and Curshevia Robinson; 1 God-Son, Jimmy Lee Brown; a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, family, friends and the Class of 1984 of Tchula Attendance Center.
