Larry Harris

August 2, 1964 - March 6, 2022

Larry Harris was born on August 4, 1964 to Liza Harris of Starkville, MS and Leroy Harris of Mayhew, MS. At an early age, Larry accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He joined Peter’s Rock Church of God in Christ where he remained a member until God sent His angels to carry him home on March 6, 2022. Larry leaves to cherish his memories a devoted and loving companion of 37 years, Sandy “San” Sharp; his mother, Liza Harris of Starkville, Ms; his father, Leroy Harris of Greenville, MS; six sisters: Cheryl “TC” Riley, Lavorne “Ella” (Henry) Harris, Ethel “Bae Bae” (Charles) Rice, Mildred “Boochie” (Michael) Kelly, Harriett “Dama” Harris, all of Starkville, MS, and Bridget “Tang” Hagen of Salisbury, MD; one brother, Dennis “Floyd” Hagen; two loving cousins: Barbara “Scooter” Henderson and Rosie “Peas” Evans; and a host of nieces, great-nieces, nephews, and great-nephews who loves him dearly. His grandparents: Captain and Lizzie Riley; his brother-in-law, Foronzo Harris; and his one niece, Rochelle Harris preceded him in death.
