Flora Lee Day, 70, of Pickens, MS passed away on Friday June 10, 2022, at Baptist Hospital in Jackson, MS. Flora was born to the late I.C. and Pinkie Southern Day on May 2, 1952, in Pickens, MS. Flora was a member of New Canaan M.B. Church in Benton, MS. Flora was a member of the Heroines of Jericho Goodman Court #91 in Goodman, MS and a member of Order of the Eastern Star Pleasant Grove Chapter 485 in Pickens, MS. Flora was proceeded in death by her parents, Grandparents: Charlie and Katie Day; 3 brothers, Eddie, L.C., Walter Day; and 1 Sister, Katie Day. Flora leaves to cherish her memories 4 daughters: Mamie (De Edward) Anderson of Pickens, MS, Pinkie (Tommy) Wilson of Pickens, MS, La Toryia and La Tonya Day, both of Pickens, MS; 3 sons: Terry (Annie) Day, of West, MS, Willie (Diann) Day and Charles (Lesha) Day both of Pickens, MS; 1 sister, Pearlie Day of Pickens, MS; 1 uncle, David Southern of Jackson, MS: 15 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be Friday from 12;00 Noon until 1:00 pm for family and from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm for the public at Hairston & Hairston Funeral Home in Lexington, MS. Funeral Service will be Saturday at 2:00 pm at New Canaan M.B. Church, 741 Molestage Slack Rd., Benton, MS. 39039 Interment: Union Cemetery in Pickens.
