Linda Delois Bardwell

Mrs. Linda Logan Bardwell was born on October 13th, 1951, to the late Mattie Bell Logan and the late Peter “Pete” Archie. She departed this life on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at OCH Regional Medical Center. She was the fourth child of six siblings. She was preceded in death by both of her parents: Mattie Bell Logan and Peter “Pete” Archie. Grandparents: Fred Logan, Sr., Emma Lowry Logan, and Irene Logan; One sister: Emma Jean Morris; Brother Danny Logan; Three nephews; Undre Williams, Dorian Logan, and Chauncey D. Logan Sr., two aunts and seven uncles. Linda married Ellis Outlaw to this union two children were born. He preceded her in death. Later she married Willie Bardwell who also preceded her in death. She was a 1969 graduate of Henderson High School. She professed Christ at an early age at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. In later years she moved her long-time membership to Griffin Chapel United Methodist Church. Our fondest memories of her were her “LOVE” for sewing, dressing in high fashion apparel with a matching hat, shoes, and purse, reading God's word, cooking, eating, watching “Mary Mary” and making friends. She leaves to celebrate her life and cherish her memories, her devoted children; one daughter Lindera Renee’ Outlaw (Michael) Williams of Memphis, TN; one son, Troy (Janel) Outlaw Sr. of Las Vegas, NV. Three brothers; Wilburn Logan and Willie James (Ruth) Porter Jr. of Starkville, MS.; Jackie (Barber) Skinner of Columbus, MS. Two sisters; Geri Porter (Arnaz) Jones of Starkville, MS. and Brenda S. (Eric) Moore of Crowley, TX. Three grandchildren: Petty Officer 2nd Class Troy Outlaw Jr. of Whidbey Island, WA; Petty Officer 3rd Class Michael (Leah) Outlaw of Guam; Taylor Outlaw of Las Vegas, NV, and Samantha Thomas of Carthage, MS. Five aunts; Nola Williams, Bessie and Eleanor Logan all of Chicago, IL; Magnolia Thomas and Hattie Bardwell-Pace both of Starkville, MS. Mother-in-law; Janie Outlaw of Starkville, MS and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
